On December 3, at the Al Waha Theatre in Dubai, representatives from over 50 countries and 30 institutions came together for the important launch of the COP28 Declaration on climate, relief, recovery, and peace.
Viktoriia Kyreieva, Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, actively participated in discussions addressing urgent climate measures and necessary funding for communities in crisis.
The significant commitments from country and institution representatives highlighted a united dedication to the COP Presidency’s agenda, indicating a decisive step towards sustainable solutions. In humanitarian, development, climate, and peace sectors, the Declaration received broad support, demonstrating a unified global stance.
The symbolic “Family Photo” moment captured unity among supporting participants, emphasizing their collective determination to counter environmental challenges.

Ahead of the COP28 climate conference, Slovak President Zuzana Čaputová extended her support to Ukraine, showcasing solidarity by visiting the country’s national pavilion.
