Visualisation of the Ukraine Pavilion
Ukraine is opening its pavilion at the conference for the fourth time this year. It is our platform for holding events over two weeks. The Pavilion brings together government, business, and civil society representatives.
The Ukraine Pavilion is more than just an exhibition space. It is a time capsule that preserves the voice of nature wounded by war while offering a vision of a future full of green solutions. Visitors will see the contrast between Ukraine’s destruction and resilience and experience the depth of Ukrainian pain and strength firsthand.
It is a space where memories of destroyed forests and ruined infrastructure transform into an impulse for action. Here, you can witness Ukraine’s efforts to develop new environmental policies, restore nature, generate clean energy, and promote global food security despite the ongoing war.
The pavilion invites everyone to reflect:
- What mark are we leaving on the planet?
- What choices will we make today as a global community?
- What future are we ready to build together?
This is not just a time capsule; it is the seed of a change that Ukraine has already begun. It is growing even through the fire.

Ukraine's Goals at COP30
- Strengthen ties with partners and establish new contacts at the political, expert, and business levels
- “Synchronize watches” with the EU on the European integration path
- Strengthen Ukraine’s image and raise awareness of the country among Global South nations
- Take advantage of a major international platform to inform the world about the consequences of Russia’s full-scale aggression and defend the principles of environmental and energy security
The Pavilion is Conceived as a Journey Through Destruction, Choice and Hope
It embodies the metaphor of a time capsule, preserving the memory of loss while offering a vision of renewal. Visitors are invited to explore the impact of war on the environment, consider the challenges humanity faces, and envision a future where Ukraine is a leader in green innovation and environmental restoration.
At the pavilion, we will talk about
- Ukraine’s forests and biodiversity, which are suffering greatly from Russia’s aggression. Yet, even under fire, we continue to restore them
- Ukraine’s climate policy: despite the ongoing full-scale war, remains committed to its international climate commitments.
- Green recovery: Ukraine is rebuilding what Russia destroyed based on the principle of building back better, build back greener
- Renewable Energy: Like Brazil, Ukraine is paying special attention to renewable energy development and strengthening its energy security
- Food Security: Despite the war, Ukraine is making significant contributions to ensuring
food security in countries in the Global South through international programs.
