Opening of the pavilion

Ukraine Pavilion at COP28 opens its doors. The pavilion will present striking visualizations, including the aftermath of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant explosion and the construction of the Tylihul wind power plant. These visuals will reflect the tragedy of the past, but also the determination and courage to rebuild the country and nature in friendship with the climate.

At the first event, the speakers will share their thoughts on climate policy and expectations from COP28, emphasizing not only the challenges but also the importance of global unity to overcome environmental problems caused by conflicts.

  • Vasylina Belio, Head of the Climate Department at the EcoDIA Center for Environmental Initiatives
