Ukraine’s path to Net Zero – 2030 and 2050 goals

Despite the war, Ukraine is developing its vision of “building back better” Ukraine’s economy and energy sector. This vision is based on decarbonization, renewable energy sources, new technologies and energy efficiency. In order to set priorities and build effective cooperation among donors, partners and business, to invest in the Ukrainian economy as efficiently as possible, the Ukrainian government, in partnership with Net Zero World, UK Government and Ukrainian think tanks has developed a Net Zero strategy until 2050 and is working on the development of the National Energy and Climate Plan for 2030, which is a mandatory document for all EU member countries. This event is focused on the presentation and discussion of the main scenarios for achieving the goals of decarbonization and “building back better” by 2030 and 2050.
