They discussed environmental safety issues and damage caused by the war and identified key areas of cooperation. According to Mr Lazarencu, Moldova’s environment is also affected by the war, but the country remains a reliable ally of Ukraine. Moldova is actively involved in implementing paragraph 8 of the Peace Formula initiated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and supports Ukraine’s efforts towards green recovery.
Svitlana Grynchuk thanked Sergio Lazarenko for the constructive conversation and expressed her gratitude to the Republic of Moldova for its solidarity with Ukraine.
