This session highlights how young Ukrainian leaders, even amid the devastation of war, are driving the nation’s green recovery and European integration. It will explore the development of Ukraine’s first framework climate law, a monumental step toward coordinated climate resilience and securing the right to a healthy environment for future generations. Featuring winners of the UNDP’s Youth4Climate initiative, the discussion will focus on the crucial role of youth in decision-making to ensure a “Build Back Better” approach grounded in justice, democracy, and effective climate policy.
