The high-level session will present Ukraine’s pioneering framework for leveraging Article 6.2 cooperative approaches to finance post-war energy and industrial transformation.
Building on the “Unlocking Climate Capital at Scale” initiative led by Bankers for Net Zero (UK), UK Friends of Ukraine, and Ukrainian academic and governmental partners, the discussion will explore how carbon market cooperation can underpin resilient, transparent, and investable recovery.
The Ukraine Framework demonstrates how high-integrity carbon markets and climate-aligned finance mechanisms can deliver measurable emission reductions, accelerate energy security, and build trust in next-generation carbon instruments.
